Assembly Packer 1st Shift Macon

Prepares boxes for finished product. Stacks and places product in production area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Packs product into outside and outside boxes for shipping
• Scans job card to control proper box labeling
• Physically moves product to production area
• Maintains process shelves to fill orders
• Keeps work area clean and orderly at all times
• Performs other related work as required by management

• Qualifications and Requirements:
• High School Diploma/GED (minimum)
• Must be able to lift up to 60lbs
• Must be able to push materials weighing up to 750lbs
• Physical Demands:
• While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• The employee is required to stand, walk, stoop/bend, reach/stretch, climb, use hands and arms to lift objects and/or materials weighing up to 60 lbs. The employee may be required to occasionally push materials or product that weigh up to 750 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment:
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• The employee is required to wear appropriate safety protective equipment at the proper times and in the proper environments as required by safety program rules.
