Non-Profit Student Assistant (Work-Study)

Beyond the Bell, a 501(c)(3) non‑profit, seeks a motivated student to provide administrative support, event coordination, and social media assistance while balancing coursework. The role operates within a student‑employment framework and includes 25 hours per week during regular business hours.

• Assist with general office tasks: filing, data entry, photocopying.
• Manage incoming calls and emails, redirecting them as necessary.
• Work closely with the evaluator to report data accurately and learn the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) for evidence‑based planning.
• Review the agency’s Strategic Plan, Sustainability Plan, and Evaluation Plan.
• Provide event‑planning support for departmental events focused on substance‑abuse prevention.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and analyzing social‑media campaigns across multiple platforms.

• Full‑time student at Mercer University.
• Eligible for Federal Work‑Study.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Available to work up to 25 hours per week during regular business hours.
• Commitment to confidentiality and a positive, proactive attitude.

Pay: $20 per hour.

Schedule:

25 hours per week, start date 08/25/2025, end date 12/13/2025.
