Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience

• 18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience with 1 month within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
• ASN completion required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 12 months gap required between certain program placements as specified (Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast).
• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time and for Per Diem placements at Program:
  Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Required Skills/

Experience:

• Trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucomander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR not BP
• Monitoring and management of invasive lines (arterial lines, central venous lines, pulse oximetry, intracranial pressure monitoring)
• Assist/management of bedside procedures (chest tube placement/management, tracheostomy, peg tube placement)

Required Credentials:

• BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) – traveler will be required to pass an EKG competency exam as part of Compliance
• ASN/BSN

Parking:
Free or can pay to park in parking decks.

RTO Requests:
Manager approval.

• Weekend Rotation: 6 weekend shifts on a 6-week schedule (6 shifts out of 12).
• Holiday Requirements:
  Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Holiday expectations: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving/Day after, 12/24 or 12/25, 12/31 or 1/1).

• Float between other PCU units as needed.
• Within and below scope as needed.

7 days maximum time off. 2 references from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - 1 required for submission. Proof of identification required.
