Registered Nurse (RN) Lead

Position: RN Lead – 7H – Medical Cardiology – Nights

Schedule:

Variable shift, 40 hours per week, full time. Pay Range: $41.10 - $61.65 per hour.

Responsibilities: Provides direct supervision, coaching, mentoring, and leadership for an assigned shift on the Clinical Unit. Serves as Charge Nurse and delivers professional nursing care (direct and indirect) to patients. Collaborates with health care disciplines to provide a continuum of care, participates in Integrated Model of Care, and rounds daily with interdisciplinary teams. Guides subordinates in organizing and coordinating patient care activities, assists in financial planning, maintains nursing standards, and reviews performance for quality assurance.

Manages human resource activities on shift, supports unit goal development, and assists in educational training needs.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Nurse; preferably 2 years as a Clinical Nurse and 6 months as a Charge Nurse.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think analytically and work independently and as part of a team.
