Location
: 4 East is a dynamic 32‑bed unit that specializes in caring for patients with neurological disorders and patients requiring neurosurgical pre‑ and post‑operative care. The unit also cares for patients with general medical‑surgical, stroke, and trauma needs. The team provides high‑quality, compassionate, patient‑centered care to a diverse population in a fast‑paced, supportive setting.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Located at Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center, a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma Center and Magnet® hospital serving a service area of 30 counties and a population of nearly 750,000 persons. The facility has 637 licensed beds, including pediatrics, medical‑surgical, trauma and cardiac surgery, and has robust community‑based outpatient services.
