Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Position Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU – Progressive Care Unit assignment in Macon, Georgia. The assignment is a 12‑week travel nursing position requiring 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients, interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment indicates adverse symptomatology.

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Certification: ACLS, BLS, NIH, and 2 years of RN experience.
• Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Excellent stress‑management skills and ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
