Job Summary

Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Level 1 Trauma Center)

Department:
Navicent Health Medical Center, Emergency Department

Status:
Part‑time (0.6 FTE; 24 hours per week; 2 night shifts 7 p.m.–7 a.m.)

Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive nursing care following the nursing process.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making to deliver safe and therapeutic care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team to create a safe environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to established policies and procedures.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Prior emergency room experience preferred.
