Position

RN-Registered Nurse // ICU - Intensive Care Unit.

Compensation: $1,246 weekly stipends; $14 - $15/hour; $504-540 weekly base pay. Onsite Contract.

6/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks.

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 14-bed Medical ICU at a Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience managing complex, high-acuity patients in a fast-paced team environment.

• Weekend Rotation: 6 shifts every 6 weeks (6 of 12 shifts)
• Holiday Requirements:
  One shift for each major holiday group (Thanksgiving, 12/24, 12/25, 12/31, 1/1)
• Floating:
  All adult ICU units including PCU
• First-time travelers accepted

• 637 licensed beds
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Teaching Hospital
• Certified Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center

• 14-bed Medical ICU
• Average census: 14 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:1–2 (occasionally 1:3)
• CNA support available each shift

• Respiratory failure
• Renal failure
• Sepsis
• GI bleed
• DKA
• Stroke
• Pneumonia
• Cancer
• ARDS
• Overdose patients
• Hemodynamically unstable patients requiring invasive monitoring
• Chronic ventilator and trach patients

• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• NIHSS required
• CCRN preferred

• Ventilator management
• Trach care
• Chest tube management
• PIV starts
• Insulin, heparin, and vasoactive drips
• Titration of drips to HR/BP parameters
• Management of arterial lines and central lines
• ICP monitoring
• Bedside procedure assistance
• TABLO experience preferred
