Endoscopy ASC of Middle Georgia is hiring a full‑time PACU Registered Nurse (RN). The role involves providing continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient’s condition, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. The RN may assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation and the use of sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.

The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation, performing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and their family in preparation for discharge.

The PACU RN will:

• Continuously evaluate patient conditions in the PACU, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Assist physicians during procedures as needed, including sedation management and sterile technique support.

• Provide comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia, coordinating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for discharge readiness.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth recovery and discharge.

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Capability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
