Role Overview
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all ages, following nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies. Demonstrates professionalism, maintains practice standards, and coordinates patient care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing services.
Qualifications & Skills- Graduation from an accredited nursing program;
Bachelor's degree preferred - Valid RN license in Georgia or multistate licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Additional certifications may be required based on specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS, CN, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy)
- New graduates eligible; hospital experience preferred
- Assess, plan, and deliver patient-centered nursing care
- Coordinate and supervise care activities of staff
- Ensure adherence to practice standards and policies
- Obtain and maintain relevant specialty certifications as applicable
