Role Overview

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across the lifespan, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. The nurse coordinates patient care activities and maintains high standards of practice to ensure quality care delivery.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• No experience required; new graduates are eligible; hospital experience preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area (e.g., ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NICU NRP)
• Specialty certifications within 6 months of start date if applicable

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Coordinate activities of assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services
• Maintain professional standards and adhere to policies and procedures
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in practice
