Within the med-surg/telemetry float pool, youll collaborate with experienced healthcare teams, benefit from exposure to cutting-edge practices, and enhance your understanding of interdisciplinary teamwork. The dynamic patient population and diverse medical needs ensure every shift brings a new learning experience, setting your resume apart.

Schedule/Hours
  • 12-hour shifts: 7A7P or 7P7A
  • Weekend rotation: 56 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
  • No call required
  • Holiday coverage: one shift of each major holiday per cycle
Qualifications
  • Active RN license
  • Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
  • BLS required (ACLS preferred; must pass EKG competency on onboarding)
  • 6 months recent EPIC EMR experience
  • Strong telemetry skills (including post-cath and cardiac rhythm monitoring)
  • Experience with IV starts/maintenance, trach care, insulin/heparin/Cardizem/amiodarone/milrinone/digoxin/nicardipine drips
  • Ability to float to all Med/Tele units and occasionally assist with ED holds
Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality direct care to diverse med-surg and telemetry patients
  • Monitor/intervene for cardiac, medical, and post-surgical diagnoses
  • Perform thorough assessments, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education
  • Flexibly float between units as needed, supporting busy and team-oriented environments

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
