Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Macon, GA. Key responsibilities of the RN – PCU include:
- Provide care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients in a step-down progressive care setting
- Perform clinical assessments and implement med-surg nursing skills
- Manage trach care, chest tubes, and various IV procedures
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct discharge planning and patient education, focusing on renal and fluid management
Requirements of the RN – PCU include:
- BLS, ACLS, BCR certifications required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- National certification in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred
