Charge RN - MedSurg, Surg​/Onc,

The role involves coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care for patients across all ages, ensuring effective communication of patient status, departmental issues, and staff concerns. The nurse serves as a resource and guidance provider for staff, managing operational challenges during shifts and providing direct clinical care as needed.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year hospital nursing experience; 2+ years preferred
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the relevant state and/or multistate license
• Mandatory certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, and NRP, depending on the specialty area
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit, including TNCC, ENPC, PEARS, and others for specialized units

• Assessing patient data, diagnosing issues, and developing individualized care plans
• Implementing, coordinating, and evaluating care delivery
• Promoting health, safety, and ethical practices in accordance with diversity principles
• Leading and collaborating with healthcare teams, utilizing evidence-based practices, and ensuring quality care
• Maintaining professional growth through ongoing education and certification completion
