Role Description This is a contract, on-site Home Infusion RN role located in Macon, GA. The Home Infusion RN will provide safe, high-quality infusion therapy in patients’ homes, including medication administration, monitoring for adverse reactions, and managing infusion equipment and supplies. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient status, reviewing orders, coordinating with physicians and pharmacists, educating patients and caregivers on therapies and self-care, and documenting all care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.

The RN will use Prosper Infusion’s technology platform to communicate with the pharmacy team, update care plans, and ensure timely follow-up and support. The role also involves maintaining infection control practices, reinforcing safety protocols, and contributing to a positive, concierge-style experience for each patient.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia; BSN preferred.
• Experience in home infusion, IV therapy, or related acute care settings (e.g., oncology, critical care, home health).
• Demonstrated skills in IV insertion, infusion pump operation, medication administration, and patient assessment.
• Strong patient education and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex therapies in accessible language.
• Comfort with technology platforms, electronic health records, secure messaging, and telehealth communication.
• Knowledge of infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements related to home infusion services.
• Ability to work autonomously in the field, manage schedules, prioritize visits, and respond to changing patient needs.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel to patient homes in and around Macon, GA.
• Commitment to gender-neutral, non-discriminatory, patient-centered care and adherence to ethical nursing practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; ACLS and relevant specialty certifications are a plus.
