Pay Range: $51.05 - $76.60
Join a highly respected team of Acute Care Surgeons supporting a busy Level I Trauma Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a PA or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to work alongside experienced surgeons and advanced practice providers in a fast‑paced inpatient environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Position Highlights- Full‑time inpatient APP position Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no nights, weekends, or call)
- Average patient census of approximately 15 patients per day
- Collaborative team‑based practice with experienced surgeons and APPs, opportunity to manage complex surgical and trauma patients
- Work within a premier Level I Trauma Center
- Provide inpatient care for General Surgery and Trauma Surgery patients
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care
- Participate in daily rounding and multidisciplinary care discussions
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and ancillary teams
- Manage patient admissions, consults, and follow‑up care as appropriate
- Ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based patient care and documentation
- Certified as a PA or Nurse Practitioner with acute care certification
- Eligible for or possess Georgia licensure
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical‑thinking skills
- Thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative hospital environment
- Have excellent communication and teamwork abilities
