Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and a GA or compact RN license.

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted for this unit
• Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred at time of consideration
• Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration

• Work in a Cath Lab unit with 3 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
• 12-hour day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 12-week assignment length
• Call requirements include 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week
• Floating required within facility and scope of practice, as well as to an additional Piedmont hospital as needed
• Locals accepted at the same pay rate
• Maximum RTO of 7 days, with RTO required at the time of consideration
• RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment
• Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (up to 2 of 3 major holidays)
• Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• No special scheduling requests or alternate shift accommodations allowed
• Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
• Returning travelers must have been away from all facilities within the health system for a full year before reapplying
• Full compliance required to start on time; incomplete compliance may result in a 2-week delay due to biweekly orientation scheduling
