Position: Quality Engineer/ Quality Specialist
Position Summary

The Quality Engineer / Quality Specialist will be responsible for customer quality support and quality management activities. This role will work closely with customers, production, engineering, and suppliers to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer quality issues and provide timely responses to OE customers.
  • Lead problem-solving activities for customer complaints and internal quality issues.
  • Coordinate containment actions, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports including 8D reports and customer-required documentation.
  • Monitor and improve quality performance indicators such as PPM, scrap, and warranty issues.
  • Support APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and other customer quality requirements.
  • Conduct process audits and product audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing quality and process stability.
  • Support customer visits, audits, and quality meetings.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality-related issues when necessary.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities and quality awareness within the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or OE business preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and customer response skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • English communication skills required;
    Korean bilingual preferred.
Working Conditions
  • Office and manufacturing environment.
  • Occasional customer visits and business travel may be required.
