Job Description
American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace. As a Merchandiser you play a key role in helping people celebrate holidays and special moments by managing in‑store displays and inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush items, and more. You will work independently across retail locations, showcasing strong organization, time‑management, and customer‑orientation skills.
Pay- The starting pay is $11.70 per hour with two increases during the first year of employment.
- After 6 months the pay rate will increase to $12.40.
- After 1 year of continued employment the pay rate will increase to $13.00.

This route services the following retail locations: 5955 Zebulon Rd, Macon, GA, 31210. The weekly average is 8 hours, which may increase to an average of 15 hours around holidays.
- The ideal candidate is available during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings, due to store needs and service.
- Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying product within greeting card departments, and maintaining organized backroom areas.
- Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions or concerns.
- Work in a fast‑paced retail environment using effective time‑management and organizational skills.
- Partner with store associates and management during daytime retail business hours.
- Be available for additional working days and extended hours leading up to and immediately after major holidays.
- Provide occasional assistance with store resets, which may include fixture work, product assembly, relocation or removal.
- Review and plan your weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
No experience necessary – we will train you.
Qualifications- 18 years or older.
- English literacy: able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Access to reliable transportation (most routes have multiple locations).
- Access to reliable internet for job information and updates.
- Technological competency—able to learn and use the company‑provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
- Must meet scheduling needs, including occasional weekends and the day before and after major holidays.
Work on the sales floor and back stockroom. Lift, push, pull, carry cartons, merchandise and fixtures of up to 40 pounds. Stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the workday. A stepstool may be used for some tasks. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
