Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Sales Account Executive role based in Macon, GA. The Sales Account Executive will prospect and generate new business leads, qualify opportunities, and develop tailored advertising solutions for local and regional clients. This role includes managing a portfolio of accounts, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and negotiating proposals that align with client goals and station objectives. The Sales Account Executive will maintain ongoing communication with clients, monitor campaign performance, and recommend optimizations to maximize results.
Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with internal teams on campaign execution, ensuring timely delivery of spots and digital assets, and providing consistent, high-quality customer service.
- Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, pipeline management, and identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Candidates should possess solid Account Management and Customer Service skills to manage portfolios, resolve issues, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Relationship Building skills to present solutions, negotiate effectively, and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Familiarity with media sales, advertising, or marketing, including understanding of TV and digital advertising products, is highly beneficial.
- Comfort using CRM tools, sales software, and standard office applications to track activity and report results.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, manage time effectively, and work both independently and within a team.
- College diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for client visits and local travel as needed.
