Overview
Dobbs Equipment is seeking an experienced Product Support Sales Rep (PSSR). The PSSR will be a visible, active, and recognized customer support leader throughout their area of responsibility (AOR), aggressively pursuing product support business opportunities with existing and new customers to help achieve monthly product support revenue and profitability objectives.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Call on all customers in assigned territory to maximize product support revenue and profitability.
- Maintain accurate, timely updates to the Dobbs Equipment database, including customer unit fleet details.
- Monitor customer and competitive trends and recommend actions to enhance product support revenues.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with product support, promptly addressing disputes per company policies.
- Staff the parts counter as scheduled and encourage routine parts orders.
- Maintain strong expense controls.
- Educate and train customers on the Dobbs Customer Portal.
- Assist in collecting accounts receivable as requested.
- Adhere to Dobbs and client safety policies.
- Selling shop and field labor jobs to Deere and All-Makes customers.
- Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
- Undercarriage and Ground Engaging Tools.
- Strategic parts promotions per the Dobbs Equipment Calendar.

- JDLink Renewal Percentage
- PM Agreement Service Completion

- Ground Engaging Tools Revenue
- Complete PSSR training as assigned on JDU.
- Continue to complete courses as they become available.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Customer service experience.
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent three years related experience.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Self‑management and motivation.
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Basic math skills and ability to apply common sense.
- Quick learner with creative thinking.
- Extensive driving and overnight travel required.
- Bilingual a plus.
Work may involve wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outdoor weather. Noise level is usually quiet.
Physical demands include regular standing, walking, manual handling up to 50 pounds routinely and 100 pounds occasionally, frequent reaching, and requiring visual acuity.
