Vascular Senior District Manager
Lead the Vascular sales team in a defined district, driving revenue, managing talent, and ensuring market coverage across the full Vascular product portfolio including peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, embolization, carotid and fistula maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and lead all sales and training activities for the district.
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and execute accurate and on‑going sales plans to achieve objectives.
- Maintain and grow market share across all product lines.
- Leverage the full product portfolio to maximize sales revenue.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
- Manage, coach, develop, retain, and evaluate field employees.
- Hire, train, and retain sales representatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback through field rides and performance discussions.
- Collaborate with Area Director of Sales on plan quotas, compensation plans, and market strategies.
- Ensure execution of all sales and marketing programs within the district.
- Monitor and control district expenses.
- Maintain ethical conduct and company policies.
- Keep product knowledge, medical information, and client base current.
- Attend clinical meetings, conferences, and leverage Clinical Specialists.
- Coordinate with vascular leadership and strategic accounts to secure contracts and drive growth.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional medical device sales experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years in sales and leadership.
- Experience leading field sales teams in the medical device industry.
- Track record of success in medical device sales.
- Experience with sales and personnel management functions.
- Knowledge of the interventional cardiology customer base (preferred).
- Experience in marketing, training, or technical services (preferred).
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience with Medtronic or local qualified candidates.
- Additional experience with marketing, technical services, or related areas.
Job Requirements
Regular independent mobility, computer interaction, and communication with peers are required. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. The role requires domestic travel over 50% of the time by automobile, plane, or other transportation. Work may involve exposure in cath labs or operating rooms with radiation. A valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance are required.
