Job Title:
Chemistry TA or Stockroom
Serve as a Teaching Assistant in chemistry laboratories. Assist professors in answering questions regarding laboratory techniques and applications. If working as a stockroom employee, assist in setting up labs, making solutions, keeping inventory, stocking labs, and cleaning labs.
Responsibilities- Assist professors in answering questions regarding laboratory techniques and applications.
- Set up laboratories, make solutions, keep inventory, stock labs, and clean labs (for stockroom employees).
- Must be a current undergraduate at Mercer University.
- Completed course history in the relevant laboratory: at least 1 year of General Chemistry for a General Chemistry TA.
- At least 1 semester of General Chemistry completed for stockroom eligibility.
- Must complete an Employment Eligibility Verification Form (I-9) and provide required documentation.
- Pay rate: $11.00 per hour (starting). Pay may increase with experience.
- Scheduled hours: 15 per week.
- Start date:
05/15/2026. End date: 07/31/2026.
