Mobile Engineer
Operates, inspects, and maintains HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment and systems to achieve efficient operation and longevity. Ensures energy‑efficient maintenance, reduces downtime, and records past operations. Performs inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, lighting, etc. Focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment on all HVAC/R systems. Must demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration and be multi‑skilled in electrical, HVAC, piping/plumbing, material handling equipment, and other domains.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and related equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing, building interior/exterior repair, grounds, and production equipment.
- Become familiar with various equipment and required methods for use.
- Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting conditions affecting client occupancy.
- Submit P-card receipts daily.
- Update work order status in real time.
- Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.
- Maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Be available for call‑in work and perform other duties as required.
- Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and production equipment repair and maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial and/or supermarket refrigeration.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience utilizing CMMS (Work Order) systems.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC.
Mobile position covering Macon, GA and surrounding area.
Work ShiftStandard business hours with on‑call availability.
