Maintenance Technician

• Provide support outside normal working hours, if necessary, and provide weekend support on rotation with fellow Maintenance Technicians.
• Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, and follow safe work practices.
• Ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently, cost effectively, and in a timely manner.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of fuel oil dispensers and related fueling equipment.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of food service equipment.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of structural systems such as roofs, walls, doors, ceilings, etc.
• Support the setup and installation of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, and refrigeration systems and conduct repairs when necessary.

• Possess a valid State driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus a Certificate in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration Technology or equivalent credentials.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HVAC/R technician or in a related field.
• EPA Certification in accordance with 40 CFR Part 82.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds.
• A strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experience operating a variety of equipment, including man lift, dump trailer, pump trailer, and small hand tools.
• A strong working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and metering devices.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and problem‑solving skills.
