, a leader in fleet maintenance across the U.S., is hiring a skilled Fleet Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Macon, Georgia. The Fleet Technician/Mechanic is responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of light to medium‑duty fleet vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Heavy Automotive Fleet (Ford, Chevy, Dodge - 1 Ton Trucks) for the Telecom industry. We also have small diesel engines and generators.

Required ANSI and DOT experience. Our mobile role requires travel to Macon, Albany, and Griffin Shops.

Pay: $28.00 – $33.00/hour (based on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every Friday Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium‑duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs, including Hydraulic & Electrical.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre‑employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces.

This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
