Schedule DetailsPrimarily day shift, Monday through Friday but can have after‑business‑hour requirements from time to time. Must be able to service and maintain HVAC systems at multiple locations.
Pay Range$33.05 – $49.60
Major Responsibilities- Performs preventive maintenance and technical repairs on complex facility systems.
- Diagnoses and implements complex repairs for multiple utility system, infrastructure and life‑safety systems.
- Installs/replaces and maintains building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems.
- Operates, monitors and maintains advanced utility equipment (generators, plant chillers, steam boilers, fire protection systems, etc.) and provides oversight of building automation systems to maintain and improve system efficiencies.
- Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
- Reads and updates blueprints, life‑safety drawings and manuals for accurate task completion.
- Interfaces with vendors, contractors and construction vendors to ensure safe utility interfacing and tie‑in.
- Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and ensuring required testing, calibrations and maintenance records are provided and maintained.
- Valid driver’s license. Industry‑recognized certification/license requiring continuing education units or periodic renewal to maintain.
- Advanced training beyond high school that includes the completion of technical training.
- Five or more years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
- Ability to work with minimal oversight with advanced technical skills in facility maintenance.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills/competency required in using and operating systems such as Microsoft Office platform, building automation systems, and pneumatic tube systems.
- Clear understanding of applicable compliance codes and guidelines.
- Clear understanding of multiple trades and systems and how they interconnect and support the location.
- Works required shifts and participates in on‑call duty to provide 24/7 coverage.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, crawl, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. from floor to overhead, lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to chest level, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. at waist height a reasonable distance.
- Must be able to push/pull with 50 lbs. of force.
- Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards and therefore knowledge of safety precautions.
- Position requires travel. May be exposed to road/weather hazards.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
