This is a journey-level position with strong electrical and instrumentation skills. Responsible for troubleshooting and servicing all production and support equipment within the facility in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring minimal downtime. Works closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance Team to provide maximum facility support.

• Repairs, maintains and installs wiring, motors (up to 14KV), motor controls, PLCs, AC/DC Drives, transformers, generators, lighting, instrumentation, valves and other electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and service all production and support equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
• Provide technical support using electrical testing equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
• Study plans, drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs or installations.
• Apply NFPA Guidelines, including publication 70 (National Electric Code) and regulation 820.

• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Experience with AC and DC Drives, variable frequency drives, PLCs and motor controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use hand and power tools and technical testing equipment.
• Can work independently and in a team environment to complete work orders.
• Willingness to update job knowledge through education.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.
• Physical ability to lift up to 74 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, grasping and climbing.

• 3–5 years of troubleshooting experience with close support of production equipment as a first‑class journey‑level electrician.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Understanding of National Electric Code (NEC).
• Experience with electric motors, drives and PLCs.

High school diploma or GED.
