Millwright Supervisor

Role Summary

Our Macon, GA facility is looking for a seasoned Millwright Supervisor to lead our talented team. You will be responsible for the seamless installation, upkeep, and repair of our mechanical systems, playing a key role in maintaining operational efficiency. We are looking for a leader who is enthusiastic about mechanical systems and ready to guide our staff toward success.

• Direct and organize the daily workflows of rigging staff and millwrights.
• Organize and map out the timeline for rigging and millwright assignments related to equipment setup.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by enforcing company policies and safety standards.
• Perform routine evaluations of equipment to detect malfunctions and execute necessary repairs.
• Provide mentorship and instruction to staff regarding safety procedures and industry‑standard techniques.
• Work alongside various departments to assist in meeting installation targets and overcoming technical obstacles.
• Keep precise documentation regarding equipment functionality and project progress.
• Support the management of project resources and financial planning for rigging and millwright initiatives.

• GED or high school diploma required; a technical certification or degree is a plus.
• Demonstrated history of working as a rigger and millwright in a leadership capacity.
• Deep understanding of rigging techniques, mechanical systems, and millwright operations.
• Superior communication and team leadership abilities.
• Capability to analyze and understand technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Skilled in the safe and productive operation of various power and hand tools.
• Strong analytical mindset to help resolve complex mechanical issues and ensure high‑quality results.
• Available to work non‑traditional hours and provide support during urgent maintenance situations.
