Cherokee Brick & Tile Company is seeking an experienced Electrician to help keep our manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently. If you enjoy troubleshooting industrial equipment, solving problems, and working in a team-oriented environment, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Do- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, motors, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, control panels, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Install, wire, test, and commission new electrical equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Diagnose equipment failures using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Assist with equipment upgrades, automation projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Complete maintenance work orders and documentation.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and participate in scheduled maintenance shutdowns.
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable electrical codes.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical or vocational training in industrial electrical systems preferred.
- Two (2) to five (5) years of industrial electrical maintenance experience preferred.
