Up to $400 per day or route‑based pay.

National Courier Express (NCE) is a provider of pharmaceutical, medical supply, and laboratory transport services. We rely on professional, reliable, and compassionate courier drivers to deliver time‑sensitive medical items safely and securely across Georgia.

• Pick up and deliver medical items (specimens, prescriptions, equipment, medical records) safely, efficiently, and punctually according to schedule.
• Handle deliveries in strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other medical protocols.
• Maintain temperature control and chain‑of‑custody for all deliveries.
• Follow all safety procedures, including cargo securement, hazmat handling (if certified), and emergency protocols.
• Operate your own insured vehicle while maintaining fuel efficiency and route optimization.
• Use mobile dispatching applications or other communication tools for real‑time tracking.
• Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding pickup, delivery, or any delays or incidents.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation, including digital signatures, POD images, and compliance paperwork.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing NCE.
• Perform daily pre‑trip, post‑trip and safety inspections and report any issues.
• Ensure on‑time pickup and delivery, maintaining strong communication with dispatch and operations.

Required:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license with a clean record:
  • No more than two moving violations in the past 24 months.
  • No seatbelt or cell‑phone violations in the past 12 months.
  • No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must pass a DOT drug screening.
• Must possess proper auto liability insurance:
  • $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident for bodily injury.
  • $50,000 for property damage.
• Must have a valid smartphone.
• Vehicle ownership (own or lease) suitable for medical deliveries with no major body damage.
• Prepared to lift up to 50 lb or more, with repetitive daily lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Ability to sit for extended periods during traffic.
• Ability to follow dispatch instructions and complete required training.
• HIPAA certification, OSHA compliance, DOT compliance, and hazmat certification (if applicable).

Preferred:

• Previous courier or delivery experience, especially in medical, pharmaceutical, or logistics settings.
• Familiarity with chain‑of‑custody procedures.
• DOT medical card (if operating larger vehicles).
• Experience as 1099 independent contractor.
• Strong safety mindset and customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent detail orientation and time‑management.
• Adaptability to changes in schedules.
• Team collaboration and effective communication with dispatch and crew.

• Must be prepared to drive throughout Georgia (statewide coverage).
• Vehicle must be reliable (sedan, SUV, or small van preferred).
• Vehicle must be temperature‑controlled (preferred).
