Regional CDL Driver - Macon, GA
NCH Corporation is currently seeking a CDL Driver to manage local and regional delivery routes and pump off services. This position will be based out of Macon, GA. The position requires teaming with our current Delivery Specialist making deliveries in the local area. This position includes a base salary and a quarterly safety bonus, and includes travel expenses, hotel, and meal per diem.
Responsibilities:
- Driving various company vehicles according to designated routes and outlying areas.
- Ensuring safe, efficient and timely delivery of company products and services
- Operate various material handling equipment, chemical transfer pumps, and other equipment that may be required.
- Maintain driver logs, trip expense reports, and pre and post trip reports.
- Keep open communication with management via phone, text, and email.
Requirements:
- Current Class-A driver's license (must have HAZ-MAT and Tanker endorsements)
- Must be safety-conscious
- High School degree, or equivalent
- Ability to pass the DOT certification drug screens and physical exams
- Ability to move various equipment (often weighing 75 - 100 lbs) on and off the truck as necessary
- Daily interaction with customers, MUST have a professional customer friendly focus.
