Pay: Approximately $55,000 per year (Base Salary + commission)
Schedule: Full-Time

Davis Ice Cream Georgia is a family-owned ice cream distributor serving retail customers throughout the Macon area. We are looking for a dependable Route Service Driver to manage established delivery routes and provide outstanding service to our customers. This position offers steady routes, consistent hours, daily home time, and the opportunity to increase earnings through commission.

• Annual earnings of approximately $55,000 (base pay + commission)

• Deliver ice cream and frozen products on assigned local routes
• Load and unload products at customer locations
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
• Collect and reconcile payments and invoices when needed
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned truck
• Keep accurate route logs, sales records, and expense reports
  
  Follow all DOT regulations and company safety standards

• Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record (3-year MVR required
  )
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a delivery route efficiently
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Reliable, organized, and safety-conscious
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends or seasonal peak periods
