Key Responsibilities Admissions Management
  • Oversee the entire admissions process, including meeting with prospective residents and their families, providing facility tours, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for potential residents and families, answering questions and guiding them through the admissions process.
  • Conduct pre-admission assessments to determine residents' suitability for the facility and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure appropriate placement.
  • Manage admissions paperwork, contracts, and resident agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure a smooth transition for new residents, coordinating care plans and addressing specific resident needs.
Marketing and Outreach
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the facility’s services and increase admissions.
  • Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, website content, social media, and community outreach programs.
  • Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities to enhance the facility’s visibility and build relationships with potential referral sources.
  • Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, social workers, and other key referral sources to generate leads and drive admissions.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, demographics, and competitor activities to adjust marketing strategies and stay competitive.
Referral Development
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of referral sources, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and other partners.
  • Schedule and conduct regular visits to referral sources to build relationships and promote the facility’s services.
  • Track referrals and admissions data, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to create and implement referral programs and campaigns.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Work closely with the facility’s clinical and administrative teams to ensure that potential residents’ care needs are understood and met during the admissions process.
  • Maintain open communication with residents, families, and referral sources to address any concerns or questions throughout the admissions process.
  • Participate in weekly admissions meetings and provide regular updates on referral pipelines, marketing activities, and admission targets.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Track and analyze admissions and marketing data, including occupancy rates, referral patterns, and marketing campaign results.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on admissions and marketing performance to the executive team.
  • Use data to identify trends, optimize marketing efforts, and develop strategies to meet occupancy and admissions goals.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in admissions, marketing, or business development in a healthcare, long-term care, or senior living setting.
  • Skills:

    Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Skills:

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, referral sources, and the community.
  • Skills:

    Knowledge of marketing strategies, healthcare admissions processes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Skills:

    Proficiency in using marketing tools, CRM software, and data analysis to drive admissions and measure performance.
  • Skills:

    Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet admissions goals in a fast-paced environment.
