Madera County Substitute Teacher
The Madera County Superintendent of Schools office oversees and maintains the Madera County Substitute Teacher Consortium. School Districts included in this consortium and the starting daily rates are as follows:
- Alview-Dairyland School District - $200
- Bass Lake Joint Union School District - $175
- Chawanakee Unified School District - $175
- Chowchilla Elementary School District - $220
- Chowchilla Union High School District - $200
- Golden Valley Unified School District - $175
- Madera County Superintendent of Schools - $200
- Madera Unified School District - $220
- Raymond Knowles Union Elementary School District - $175
- Yosemite Unified School District - $175
- Sherman Thomas Charter School- $225
- Liberty Charter School - $300
Substitutes may work for the districts of their choice. Each district is considered a separate employer and will pay the substitute individually. There is a constant need for Substitute Teachers and recruitment is continuous. ALL EMPLOYEES must be cleared through the Department of Justice prior to employment. Substitute Teachers who do not possess credentials must qualify for a substitute teacher permit with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Please attach the following to your application:
Copy of Teaching Credential or Permit OR College Transcripts and Passing CBEST Scores
