Salary Range: $10,770.00 – $14,164.00

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Duty Statement outlines the specific responsibilities for this position, including supervision of correctional education programs, staff development, program implementation, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Minimum RequirementsApplicants must be a current State employee with lateral transfer eligibility, reinstatement eligibility, or have passed the examination for the Supervisor of Correctional Education Programs classification. Training and Development assignment eligibility is also acceptable.
Desirable Qualifications- Strong leadership skills
- Broad experience within the field of Education
- Advanced knowledge of education program management, staff training and development, and facility operations
- Ability to evaluate, implement, and direct Adult School programs within a correctional setting
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to thoroughly complete work assignments under the pressure of established deadlines
