As the Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making and compliance by managing essential accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain precise records of asset inventory and valuations across multiple entities.
• Develop and implement effective asset management strategies to optimize resources.
• Collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct regular assessments of accounting processes to identify and drive improvements.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations in asset and financial reporting.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the Director of Finance and Controller in delivering timely, accurate financial data for business decisions.

Must-Have

Skills:

• Experience in preparation of financial statements or management reports.
• Proven ability with fixed asset and property tax reporting.
• Prior experience with inventory management systems and processes.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and working with databases or associated applications.
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Previous work in agricultural companies or a related industry environment.

Nice-to-Have

Skills:

• Background with CPA firms or equivalent accounting organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
• Minimum five years of proven accounting experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and coordinate multiple projects.
