Job Summary
Accountable for planning, promoting, coordinating, implementing and evaluating education activities. Accountable, in collaboration with area leadership teams, for promoting a continuous learning environment that supports ongoing staff development for assigned clinical areas. This position practices within the scope of the Nursing Practice act, and in accordance with Valley Children's Hospital policies.
Qualifications Education- College Degree - 4 year (required)
- RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position (required)
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program - AHA - American Heart Association within 12 months of hire or transfer into position (required)
- Minimum three (3) years related experience (required)
- Demonstrates the skills necessary to plan, implement and evaluate clinical education programs using appropriate educational principles.
