Occupational Therapist (Part Time/Full Time)
Founded in 2005, Little Hands offers Clinic and (some) School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech / Language Therapy throughout the Bay Area (located in Corte Madera, Marin County). We are a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech / Language Pathologists and Behavioral therapists, working collaboratively to support all children, families and educators.
Our services are provided primarily at our clinic site in Marin, along with public and private schools in the Bay Area. Our team enjoys learning and growing through collaboration, team bonding outings and regular professional development workshops. We value work-life balance, and provide flexible working environments and schedules driven by the unique interests and skill sets of our therapists.
We are looking for a creative, fun, passionate and collaborative Occupational Therapist to provide child/family-centered services that enable kids to confidently and independently succeed in their everyday activities. The ideal candidate will have pediatric expertise, bring a holistic perspective and enjoy working on a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience is highly valued, however, new graduates are welcome to apply, as we can customize mentorship based on each therapist’s strengths and interests.

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Pay: $60.00 – $80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
- Assess and treat performance aspects to support engagement in occupations that affect health, well-being and life quality
- Use the appropriate occupational therapy treatment models, methods and approaches to specific interventions
- Plan and provide therapeutic services to children with all levels of abilities, developmental delays, learning differences and/sensory integration challenges
- Develop and execute treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Assess client’s home and school(s) and prescribe appropriate home and school programs
- Recommend adaptive equipment as needed
- Consult and educate family members and caregivers
- Observe, note and report on the progress of long- and short-term treatment goals
- Collect data and document the processes being followed
- Provide consistent outreach to families and schools, as you build each child’s care team
- Demonstrated experience as Occupational Therapist; preferably in pediatrics
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of Occupational Therapy
- Familiarity with pediatric evaluation tools
- A drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
