Pay Rate: $27.00 depending on experience
Position SummaryAssist maintenance team to perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning, electromechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process. Assist with maintenance on equipment to including welding, machine or vehicle servicing. Also performs general construction and building maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist to perform a variety of maintenance tasked on machinery and equipment.
- Assist with parts ordering.
- Assist with creating and repairing of dies and jigs according to engineering and automation specs.
- General building services and maintenance as requested by Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures. Comply with all policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to management.
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; and one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use various hand tools
- Experience working in a team environment
- Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks
- Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to use hand and power tools and ability to operation material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jack)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and employees of the company.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 lbs, sit, stand or walk. The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers, and perceive attributes of objects and materials. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
