Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Mechanic Journeyman
Responsible for all mechanical maintenance of process equipment and general facility equipment.
Compensation and ScheduleThe starting pay rate is $39.67 per hour. Future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Responsibilities- Maintain plant equipment including material handling equipment, instrumentation and control equipment, and production equipment.
- Use plasma cutter, acetylene, and torch to perform maintenance responsibilities on equipment.
- Comply with all company maintenance programs and practices.
- Ensure the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements.
- Ensure proper and safe operation of all production machine systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic card.
- Ability to process, modify, and repair plant systems such as electrical, gas, air, and water systems.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
- Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds.

- Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) experience.
