Overview
A specialized Clinical Research Nurse position is open in Madera, CA, focused on oncology and clinical research within bone marrow transplantation and cellular therapy trials. The role centers on delivering expert nursing care to research participants while ensuring strict adherence to clinical trial protocols and regulatory standards at all levels.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing expertise for patient management in bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy clinical trials.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, assist with patient recruitment, consenting, and enrollment.
- Administer investigational treatments and educate patients on medication usage and potential side effects.
- Monitor adverse events and participate in data collection, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support auditing, monitoring, and integration of new clinical trial advances.
- Serve as liaison among investigators, sponsors, IRB, and institutional personnel to maintain protocol compliance.
- Bachelors degree in nursing or Associates degree plus two years of additional relevant experience required.
- Active CA Registered Nurse (RN) license mandated.
- At least two years of experience in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant or Hematology-Oncology nursing required.
- Clinical research experience preferred;
Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification is a plus. - In-depth knowledge of IRB policies and procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams including physicians, patients, and families.
