Description

We are seeking a skilled Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining positive customer relationships to achieve sales targets. This role requires excellent communication, product knowledge, and customer service skills to provide an exceptional car buying experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing prompt and accurate information about vehicles, pricing, and promotions.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand the customer's requirements and preferences.
  • Showcase the features and benefits of various Chevrolet/Toyota models, explaining technical specifications, performance, and safety features.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing any product-related concerns or questions promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct test drives to ensure customers' comfort and satisfaction with potential vehicle choices.
  • Negotiate pricing and financing options, ensuring transparency and adherence to dealership policies and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
  • Utilize sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales deals effectively.
  • Continuously stay up to date with Chevrolet/Toyota product knowledge, including new releases, features, and competitive advantages.
  • Prepare required paperwork accurately and efficiently for the sales process, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage referrals.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and workshops to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a clean, organized, and presentable showroom and lot.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to provide valuable market insights to management.
  • Uphold dealership ethics and integrity, adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business or related field is preferred.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Solid understanding of sales principles, techniques, and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficient computer skills with experience in CRM systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Working Conditions:

    The Sales Associate will primarily work in a dealership environment, with regular interaction with customers and other sales team members. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of sales materials. Some weekend and evening availability may be required to accommodate customer needs.
