Social Recreational Staff

About this positionUnder the supervision of the Social Rec Director, assist in planning and organizing specialized recreation and/or community service activities.
Responsibilities- Support adults with intellectual disabilities during community outings and recreational activities.
- Encourage participation in social and community events.
- Promote independence, inclusion, and personal choice.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well‑being of the individuals you support.
- Provide transportation by safely picking up and dropping off clients to and from events.
- Build positive, respectful relationships with participants.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
- Comfortable driving agency vehicles and transporting clients safely.
- Friendly, compassionate, dependable, and patient.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset but not required.
$17.9 - $18.5 hourly wage
