Lamphere Schools is contracting the services of Edustaff for Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Position: Long Term Substitute Teacher - 3rd grade
Location: Simonds Elementary School
Pay Rate: $200/day
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain student records and complete student report cards.
- Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate, preferred - minimum 60 credit hours and Substitute Teaching Permit required
- Knowledge of elementary student expectations including academic, social, emotional and behavioral milestones
- Experience or knowledge of Reading, Writing and Math Workshop models
- Experience utilizing student data to drive instruction in all subject areas
- Strong commitment to educating students
- Ability to create lesson plans and implement instructional strategies to address the needs of students in various classroom settings
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to schedule changes
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, students and parents
- Experience working with and meeting the needs of all students, including those with IEP and 504 accommodations.
- Proficiency in Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.) and online sourcing tools with functional knowledge of internet use for search platforms
- Ability to withstand the strain of teaching
- Must be reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find acceptable and appropriate
