Job Title
Admissions Representative

Key Responsibilities- Help students in the admission and enrollment process, provide application forms, help them fill out and apply for courses.
- Recruit and interview prospective students.
- Evaluate and select applicants.
- Communicate fees, pricing, and course information.
- Create connections and arrange campus interviews (if applicable).
- Act as a liaison between the institution and students; address any facility issues.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting open houses, orientations, and new‑student events.
- Perform other admissions and recruiting tasks as assigned.
- Act as a sales representative to promote the institution and explain courses to prospective students.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, needs assessment, and quality standards.
- Effective written communication for the intended audience.
- Knowledge of group behavior, societal trends, demographics, and cultural history.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Active listening and questioning skills.
- Input, transcription, storage, and maintenance of information.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
- 1–2 years of sales or recruitment experience (admissions experience preferred).
- Experience in education, admissions, customer service, or sales highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database, and software applications.
Extensive use of office equipment including computer, phones, copier, and printer. Frequent interaction with applicants, current and potential students, and staff. Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, and use hands, arms, and fingers to operate equipment. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Light to moderate office noise levels.
