• Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
• Experience working with early childhood or preschool-aged students preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Ability to differentiate instruction for varying ability levels
• Collaborative skills to work with general education staff, support personnel, and families
• Knowledge of best practices in early childhood SPED

• Deliver direct instruction and support individualized education plans (IEPs) for preschool and early elementary students
• Assess student abilities, monitor progress, and adjust instruction as needed
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and growth
• Partner with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams to develop goals and foster student advancement
• Maintain accurate records, complete reports, and participate in IEP meetings
