Project Manager / Estimator Electrical Construction

Orion Solutions Group is representing a well-established Michigan electrical contractor with approximately 150 employees and $60 million in annual revenue.

We are seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing team and work alongside one of the company's most experienced project leaders as part of a long-term succession plan.

This position offers a unique opportunity to learn from a seasoned Project Manager/Estimator with decades of experience managing healthcare, utility, commercial, institutional, and design-build electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will gradually assume responsibility for key customer relationships and project portfolios while developing into a senior project leadership role.

• Manage electrical construction projects from award through closeout
• Prepare estimates, budgets, proposals, and change orders
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors
  
  Develop and maintain customer relationships
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Participate in project buyout and procurement activities
• Conduct site visits and monitor project progress
• Manage project financial performance and reporting
• Support business development and repeat-client relationships

• 3-8 years of experience in electrical construction project management, estimating, or project engineering
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
• Experience preparing estimates, pricing change orders, or supporting bid efforts
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Desire to develop into a senior project leadership role
• Electrical contracting experience strongly preferred
