Production Operator

Job Description Apex Placement and Consulting is looking for motivated, mechanically inclined Production Operators for one of their premier clients in Madison Heights, MI. This is more than just a role—it’s a hands‑on logistics position where you’ll learn new skills, and work with cutting‑edge systems in a clean, organized facility. • Learn to safely operate a hilo (forklift)—all team members are trained and expected to be certified
• Use HMI screens to pull specifications and monitor logistics processes
• Enter and retrieve information using AS400
• Support product movement, inventory management, and material flow
• Maintain organization and cleanliness on the floor
• Communicate with your team and leadership to ensure everything runs smoothly

• Mechanically inclined individuals who are comfortable with hands‑on work
• Very comfortable using computers and navigating simple systems
• Ability to read and follow instructions and specs
• Must be able to train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd or 3rd shift (training may last 2 weeks to 2 months)
• Aptitude, Attitude, and Attendance are your keys to success
