Job Summary
Operate production line for sealing or impregnation of prepared customer parts using cranes, hoists, and other controls to move customer parts through various stages of production.
Responsibilities- Load and unload customer parts and/or baskets into the 110/130/140 line in a safe, timely and efficient manner using a crane or hoist.
- Complete visual inspections and quality checks before processing; alert Quality Personnel or Team Lead about damaged, dirty or contaminated parts.
- Understand and troubleshoot basic line or crane/hoist issues.
- Complete all necessary production reporting forms per quality instructions.
- Assist with loading and unloading duties as needed, both on and off the production line.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Carrying out other duties as directed and may be required to work flexible hours.
- Safely work in a variety of potentially hazardous situations while adhering to Quaker Houghton’s Life Saving Rules.
- Basic use of computers as needed.
- Strong understanding of safety rules and ability to work in hazardous environments.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform visual inspections.
- Good communication skills to report issues to Quality Personnel or Team Lead.
